Fáránlega flottur febrúar // Freakishly fabulous February
Við erum einstaklega spennt fyrir febrúar. Ekki nóg með að í fyrstu vikunni sé kynheilbrigðisvikan, vika 6, heldur erum við að kynna nýjungina ,,félagsmiðstöð á flandri”. Þegar við vorum að skipuleggja dagskránna fyrir febrúar leituðum við til nemendaráðsins og félagsmálavalsins til að athuga hvort þau vildu breyta skipulaginu eitthvað sem myndi samt virða 50 manna viðmiðin. Upp kom sú frábæra hugmynd að halda árgangaskiptum opnunum en að þeir sem ekki ættu opnun það kvöld gætu heyrt í félagsmiðstöðinni og skipulagt með þeim hitting, fyrir hina, víðsvegar um borgina. Við munum bjóða upp á ,,félagsmiðstöð á flandri” á mánudögum og miðvikudögum. Ef einhverjum dytti í hug að kíkja á kaffihús, í sund, í fótbolta, ísferð, bíó eða hvað sem er geta þau sent það á félagsmiðstöðina á samfélagsmiðlum eða hringt í okkur og borið upp hugmyndina. Starfsfólkið myndi skipuleggja hittinginn með hugmyndasmiðnum og auglýsa svo viðburðinn á samfélagsmiðlum 100&1. Einnig eru ekki allir árgangar að fylla upp í 50 manns á kvöldi og má því alltaf koma og athuga hvort pláss sé fyrir fleiri þó svo að þeirra árgangur á ekki opnun það kvöld.
Við hlökkum svo til að prufa þessa nýjung og halda úti stórskemmtilegu og spennandi starfi í febrúar.

We are extremely excited for February. Not only is the first week sexual health week, week 6, but we are introducing a new innovation “youth club on the go”. When we were planning the programs for February, we asked the student council and class félagsmálaval to see if they wanted to change the organizing of the openings that would still respect the 50 people limits. A great idea came up to hold the openings for each grade, but those who do not have an opening that evening could contact the youth club and organize a meet up with them, for the others, all over the city. We will offer a “youth club on the og” on Mondays and Wednesdays. If anyone would like to og to a café, og swimming, play football, og to the ice cream parlor, to the movies or whatever they think of, they can contact us on social media or call us and bring up the idea. The staff would organize the meet up with the creator and then advertise the event on social media 100&1. Also, not all grades are filling up to 50 people in one evening, so they can always come and see if there is room for more people, even if their grade does not have an opening that evening.
We look forward to trying out this innovation and having a great and exciting openings in February.
