Samfés (Youth Work Iceland), landssamtök félagsmiðstöðva og ungmennahúsa á Íslandi eru frjáls félagasamtök sem hafa það meðal annars að markmiði að halda úti og styðja við öflugt lýðræðislega kjörið Ungmennaráð Samfés. Þetta ungmennaráð skipar mikilvægan sess í lýðræðisvinnu með unglingum og að tryggja að unglingar hafi rödd í samfélaginu. Þetta ungmennaráð skipuleggur einnig ótalmarga stórkostlega viðburði fyrir unglinga landsins. Þar má t.d. nefna rafíþróttamót Félkó og Samfés, danskeppni Samfés, og Stíl sem eru nú á næsta leiti.

Rafíþróttamót Samfés og Félkó (félagsmiðstöðva Kópavogsbæjar) – 5.febrúar

Streymt verður beint frá leikjum í CS:GO mótinu á Samfés Twitch TV. Skráning á mótið fer fram hjá starfsfólki 100&1. Nánari upplýsingar, tímasetningar leikja og dagskrá mótsins verður sent út á næstu dögum.

Þessi flotti rafíþróttaviðburður er fyrir ungt fólk á aldrinum 13-25 ára. Markmið viðburðarins er að virkja og ná til ungs fólks, draga úr félagslegri einangrun og stuðla að jákvæðri þróun í rafíþróttum. Samfés leggur mikinn metnað í stefnumótun í rafíþróttum og er í vinnuhópi á vegum menntamálaráðuneytisins til að styðja við og efla rafíþróttir fyrir unglingana okkar.

Danskeppni Samfés – 19.mars

Danskeppni Samfés fer fram föstudaginn 19. mars og hafa reglur fyrri ára verið uppfærðar og ungu fólki á aldrinum 10-18 ára gefst tækifæri á að taka þátt í hóp- og einstaklingkeppni í dansi. Keppendur sýna frumsaminn dans og sjá alfarið um alla þá þætti sem snúa að því að sýna opinberlega fullbúið dansatriði. Markmiðið með þessum viðburði er að vekja athygli á og hvetja ungt fólk til að dansa og koma fram með sinn eigin dansstíl. Keppnin er frábært tækifæri og hvetjum við alla sem hafa áhuga á dansi að taka þátt.

Miðað við stöðuna í dag, verður keppnin tekin upp og líklega streymt í beinni þar sem ekki verður hægt að leyfa áhorfendur miðað við núgildandi reglu um takmörkun á samkomum.

Keppt verður í þessum aldursflokkum: 10-12 ára (5.-7. bekkur), 13-16 ára (8.-10. bekkur) og 16-18 ára (útskrifuð úr grunnskóla)

Skráning 10-16 ára fer fram í gegnum félagsmiðstöðvar. Skráning 16+ fer fram í gegnum ungmennahúsin. Einnig verður boðið upp á að skrá sig beint hjá Samfés þar sem ekki eru ungmennahús í öllum sveitafélögum.

Fyrirkomulag í hópakeppni: Keppendur þurfa ekki að vera allir frá sömu félagsmiðstöð eða ungmennahúsi. Það helst óbreytt að starfsfólk félagsmiðstöðva/ungmennahúsa aðstoði keppendur við skráningu (nöfn félagsmiðstöðva/ungmennahúss keppenda skráð), sendi inn undirspil ásamt skráningu með nöfnum þátttakenda, nafni hóps ofl. Með þessu er einnig verið að gefa færi á aukinni tengingu hverfa, bæjar- og landshluta.

Fyrirkomulag í einstaklingskeppni: Keppendur á aldrinum 10-16 ára skrá sig hjá og á nafni sinnar félagsmiðstöðvar. Eldri keppendur skrá sig í gegnum ungmennahúsin eða hjá Samfés.

Reglur:
Aldur keppenda er 10-18 ára.
Í hópakeppni eru 2-7 manns saman (undanþága möguleg ef hópurinn er stærri).
Atriði skal vera frumsamið af þátttakendum.
Lengd atriðis skal vera 1:40-2:00 mín.
Senda undirspil tímanlega í nothæfum gæðum.

Stíll 2021 – 20.mars

Hönnunarkeppnin Stíll fer fram í íþrótthúsinu Digranesi laugardaginn 20. mars kl. 12-17. Þemað í ár er „SIRKUS“ og er það valið af Ungmennaráði Samfés. Á Stíl koma saman og keppa unglingar af öllu landinu í fatahönnun, hárgreiðslu, förðun, framkomu og hönnunarmöppu.

Skráning keppenda á staðnum byrjar kl. 12 og hefst keppni á vinnusvæðum kl. 13.

Ungt fólk af öllu landinu tekur þátt og er gaman að segja frá því að Stíll er valáfangi í Austurbæjarskóla í samstarfi við félagsmiðstöðina. Markmið Stíls eru m.a. að hvetja ungt fólk til listsköpunar og um leið gefa þeim aukin tækifæri til frumlegrar hugsunar og sköpunarhæfileika. Skráningin í keppnina fer fram í félagsmiðstöðinni. Hver félagsmiðstöð má senda frá sér tvo hópa.

Samfés (Youth Work Iceland), the national association of community centers and youth clubs in Iceland, is a non-governmental organization that aims, among other things, to maintain and support a strong, democratically elected Youth Council. This youth council plays an important role in democratic work with young people and in ensuring that young people have a voice in our society. This youth council also organizes countless wonderful events for the country’s youth. E.g. the Félkó and Samfés e-sports tournaments, the Samfés dance competition, and Stíll design competition, which are now coming up.

E-sport tournament of Samfés and Félkó (youth clubs of Kópavogur) – February 5th

The e-sports tournament of Samfés and the youth clubs of Kópavogur (Félkó) will be held on Friday. February 5th at 16:00-23:00 online. Participants can register and participate in CS: GO, Fortnite, LoL or Rocket League.
It will be streamed live from games in the CS: GO tournament on Samfés Twitch TV. Registration for the tournament is done by the staff in 100&1. Further information, game schedules and tournament schedule will be sent out in the coming days.
This great e-sports event is for young people aged 13-25. The aim of the event is to mobilize and reach young people, reduce social isolation and promote positive developments in e-sports. Samfés takes great pride in policy-making in e-sports and is part of a working group under the auspices of the Ministry of Education to support and promote e-sports for our young people.

Samfés dance competition – 19 March

Samfés dance competition will take place on Friday, March 19th and the rules of previous years have been updated and young people aged 10-18 are given the opportunity to participate in group and individual competitions in dance. Competitors show original dance and take care of all the aspects related to showing a publicly completed dance piece. The aim of this event is to raise awareness and encourage young people to dance and come up with their own dance style. The competition is a great opportunity and we encourage everyone who is interested in dance to take part.

Given today’s situation, the competition will be recorded and probably streamed live as it will not be possible to allow spectators in accordance with the current rule on restrictions on gatherings.

There will be competition in these age groups: 10-12 years old (5th-7th grade), 13-16 years old (8th-10th grade) and 16-18 years old (graduated from primary school)

Registration for 10-16 year olds goes through the youth clubs. Registration for 16+ goes through their youth centers. It will also be possible to register directly with Samfés as there aren´t youth centers in all municipalities.

Arrangements for group competitions: Competitors do not have to be all from the same youth club or youth center. It remains unchanged that the staff of the youth clubs / youth centers assist the competitors with registration (the name of the youth clubs / youth centers of the competitors are registered), submit a song or soundscape together with the registration with the names of the participants, the name of the group etc. This also provides an opportunity for increased connection between districts, towns and regions.

Individual competition arrangements: Competitors aged 10-16 register with and in the name of their youth club. Older competitors register through the youth centers or at Samfés.

Rules:
The age of the competitors is 10-18 years.
In a group competition there are 2-7 people together (exemption possible if the group is larger).
Dance must be originally written by the participants.
The length of the dance piece should be 1:40-2:00 min.
Send songs or soundscape in a timely manner in good quality.

Stíll 2021 – March 20

Stíll design competition will take place in the Digranes sports hall on Saturday, March 20th at 12:00-17:00. This year’s theme is “CIRCUS” and it is chosen by the Samfés Youth Council. At Stíll, teenagers from all over the country come together and compete in fashion design, hairdressing, make-up, appearance and a design portfolio.

Registration of competitors on site starts at 12:00 and the competition starts at work areas at 13:00.

Young people from all over the country take part and we are proud to mention that Stíll is an elective course at Austurbæjarskóli in collaboration with the youth club. The goals of the competition are i.a. to encourage young people to create art and at the same time give them more opportunities for original thinking and creativity. Registration for the competition takes place in the youth club. Each youth club can send two groups.
