Upptakturinn 2021 // The Upbeat 2021

Okkur í 100&1 skortir svo sannarlega ekki hæfileikabúnt í tónlist. Því viljum við hvetja alla til þess að senda inn hugmynd í Upptaktinn. Upptakturinn- Tónsköpunarverðlaun barna og ungmenna, er spennandi verkefni Barnamenningarhátíðar og Hörpu þar sem áhersla er lögð á að hvetja ungt fólk til að semja sína tónlist og senda inn tónsmíð, eða drög að tónverki. Dómnefnd sem skipuð er fagfólki mun svo velja úr innsendum hugmyndum. Þau verk sem valin eru, verða fullunnin í vinnustofu með aðstoð tónskálda og fagfólks í tónlist. Afrakstur þeirrar vinnu má sjá og heyra á tónleikum Upptaktsins í Hörpu á opnunardegi Barnamenningarhátíðar sem verður að þessu sinni þann 20. apríl 2021.

We in 100&1 certainly do not lack teenagers with talent in music. Therefore, we would like to encourage everyone to submit an idea to Upptakturinn. Upptakturinn – The Music Creation Award for children and young people, is an exciting project of the Children’s Culture Festival and Harpa, where the emphasis is on encouraging young people to compose their music and submit compositions, or draft compositions. A jury composed of professionals will then select from the submitted ideas. The selected works will be completed in a studio with the help of composers and music professionals. The result of that work can be seen and heard at Upptakturinn’s concert in Harpa on the opening day of the Children’s Culture Festival, which this time will be on 20 April 2021.
