Covid fréttir – vegna samkomubanns
Eftir að hafa fundað og skipulagt með skólanum vegna samkomubanns höfum við komist að eftirfarandi niðurstöðu varðandi starfið í Eldflauginni næstu vikurnar. Við munum reyna að halda úti þjónustu fyrir yngstu börnin eins lengi og við getum og í takt við styttan skólatíma þannig að sem mest samfella verði í deginum þeirra.
Þar sem skipta þarf hópunum upp og þeir mega ekki blandast þýðir það að það verður engin eða minni þjónusta fyrir eldri börnin á meðan okkur eru settar þessar skorður þar sem við höfum ekki nægilega mikið af starfsfólki fyrir alla hópana. Gjöld verða felld niður fyrir þá daga sem börnin geta ekki fengið þjónustu hjá okkur.
Þar sem skólanum lýkur klukkan 12.00 mun Eldflaugin færa opnunartíma sinn frá 12.00 -15.20 (í stað 13.40 – 17.00. Starfsfólk Eldflaugarinnar tekur við börnunum af kennurum hópsins þannig að börnin verða á sama rými yfir daginn með það að markmiði að hóparnir blandist ekki. Hóparnir munu þá skiptast á að fara í útiveru yfir daginn.
Enn fremur er rétt að minnast á að þetta fyrirkomulag gæti breyst skyndilega vegna veikinda eða fjarvista (sóttkví) starfsfólks komi til þess.
Þetta eru því hóparnir sem við reynum að þjónusta eftir fremsta megni.

(Ættuð að hafa fengið lista frá skólastjórnendum og/eða kennurum varðandi hvert börnin eiga að mæta, þau verða á því svæði þar til Eldflauginni lýkur).
Við náum vonandi að taka á móti einum hóp frá þriðja bekk á fimmtudaginn en munum upplýsa foreldra barna í 3.bekk um það þegar nær dregur. Öll þjónusta fyrir 4.bekk fellur niður.
Einnig viljum við ítreka við ykkur að koma ekki inn í skólann þegar börnin eru sótt til að takmarka fólksfjölda í inngöngum. Það þarf að gæta ítrasta hreinlætis varðandi klæðnað barnanna og taka ÖLL föt heim í lok dags svo hægt sé að sótthreinsa snagana. Enn fremur viljum við biðja ykkur að halda börnunum heima ef þau sýna einhver einkenni kvefs/inflúensu þannig að við náum að vernda starfshópinn okkar og tryggja þjónustu í lengri tíma.

After meeting and organising with the school about the restriction on gatherings we have reached the following decision about how Edflaugin will be for the next few weeks/days. We will try to provide services for the youngest children as long as we can in accordance with shorter school hours so there will be as much continuity in their day as possible.
Since we need to divide the groups further and the cannot mix with each other we will not have any or as much service for the older children while the restrictions are in place because we do not have enough staff for all the groups. Fees will be cancelled those days the children are not able to receive any services.
Since school will be over at 12.00, Eldflaugin will move its opening hours to 12.00-15.20 ( instead of 13.40 -17.00). Our staff will take over from the groups’ teachers so that the children will stay in the same area for the whole day with the goal of stopping the groups from mixing. The groups will take turns going outside during the day.
It is also important to note that this plan could change quickly due to illness or absence (quarantine) of our staff, if that was to happen.

(You should already have received a list from the principal/teachers regarding where your child should attend, they will stay in that area until the end of Eldflaugin).
We will hopefully be able to receive one group from 3rd grade on Thursday but we will inform the parents of the children in 3rd grade closer to the time. All service for 4th grade is cancelled.
We would like to stress the importance that you do not come into the school building when picking up the children so we can limit the number of people inside the entrances. You need to make sure the children’s clothes are clean and take ALL clothes home at the end of the day so we can clean the pegs. We also stress the importance of keeping the children at home if they show any signs of a cold/infuenza so that we can protect our staff and ensure services for a longer period.
