Nýnemaball Háteigsskóla // Háteigsskóli’s welcoming dance
Þann 2. september síðastliðinn hélt nemendaráð Háteigsskóla svokallað nýnemaball til að bjóða nýja 8. bekkinga velkomna á unglingastig. Með þessu sýndu þau meðal annars hvað félagslífið í Háteigsskóla hefur uppá að bjóða og hvað koma skal á þessu skólaári. Fyrir utan það að dansa við góða tóna var einnig sýnt svokallað nýnemamyndband og úrslit úr nefndakosningum voru tilkynnt. Alls mættu 89 unglingar á ballið sem að heppnaðist mjög vel. Það má því búast við gríðarlegu góðu skólaári, sérstaklega hvað varðar félagslíf.

The 2nd of Spetember, Háteigsskóli’s student council held a so called welcoming dance to welcome new 8th graders. By doing that they showed what the social life in Háteigsskóli has to offer and what to excpect this school year. Other than dancing to good music the student council showed a so called welcoming video and then results of the votings to the committees was announced. There were 89 teens that attended the dance that was a big succsess. It can be excpected that this school year will be great, espicially when it comes to social life.
