Gul veðurvörun er í gildi frá kl. 16 í dag og til miðnættis annaðkvöld. Mælst er til þess að almennt sé starfsemi skólahljómsveita og félagsmiðstöðva óskert í dag en að foreldrar fylgi börnunum yngri en 12 ára á milli staða eftir kl. 17. Það fer að hvessa eftir kl. 17 og geti þurft að meta samkvæmt aðstæðum hvort fella eigi niður starf fyrir börn yngri en 12 ára.

A yellow weather warning is in effect from 16:00 today until midnight tomorrow. It is recommended that out of school activites such as music school and youth centres are unaffected but parents of children under 12 years old are to accompany them when travelling to their activities. The wind will pick up after 17:00 and there may need a review into the possiblity of closing activities for children under 12.
