The Smíðastofa, or Smíðó, is a craft room where kids can „perla“ or make shapes and crafts with fusible plastic beads (sometimes called Hama beads in English). When they‘re finished, kids can have their designs ironed for them by a staff member and take them home, or they can store their works-in-progress in the craft cabinet and finish them later.
